With a generous 42mm stainless steel case equipped with a duo of chronograph pushers and a tachymeter scale, the DMC 1981 Chronograph carries on the same sporty spirit of the iconic DeLorean car.

The new DMC 1981 Chronograph offers two different band styles to keep the watch securely and comfortably on your wrist. For a more formal touch, opt for the classic black leather strap fitted with a steel tang buckle. Alternatively, if you prefer a sportier style, then the matching robust stainless steel three-link bracelet equipped with a butterfly clasp is the perfect pairing.

Bracelets and Straps

The development of the modern chronograph watch was in part inspired by the needs of the motorsport community. In particular, the stopwatch functionality of a chronograph can time how long a race car takes to cross the finish line. Simple to use, the top pusher at the 2 o’clock position launches the red central chronograph hand to sweep around the face of the watch. The same pusher is used to stop the hand in its tracks to read the elapsed time. To reset, the bottom pusher at the 4 o’clock position returns the hand back to its starting position.
